Daily Progression Real Life Case Study Blogging Actions
3rd update: Take action, never give up, Continue Building
This is the 3rd post update about what I had done during these 17 last days. Little by little you will see how I changed BlogaDollar’s Strategy due to the evolution of the situation. Indeed, I’m a 24 years old economics student now and the faculty has reopened its doors again. Yes, we’re in september. I’m not full time blogging anymore like these 2 last months of holyday season but part-time only now, between blogging and studying at university. I’m in the master management course this year and my speciality is marketing. Hey! I bet what I’ll learn at university will help me improve my blogging style/skills too. It’s Win Win Win for you, me and anyone reading BlogaDollar.
Ok! Let’s Go.
I haven’t finished brainstorming yet. That day, at 3:00 pm, I knew that september was approaching and that I needeed to come up with a solid plan/method to organise the blogging activity and the studying activity that was going to restart again. There are so many things to do that I absolutely had to construct a reliable process tying everything together. So I really had to force myself thinking deeply about content creation planning and method, strategical directions, general theme of BlogaDollar, to change or not, to continue or stop certain things.
So until 6:05 pm, I worked hard making my brain think about the content I was planning to produce on BlogaDollar: result of this session, I’ve found that listing multiple ideas possibilities first before expanding on each of them was more reliable and prolific.
Until today, I was doing the opposite. It doesn’t matter: as you can see, it’s trial and error, fixing and profit while continuing and never giving up.
7:50 pm Stumble Upon unfreezes my account. The other day, I emailed them because even though I stumbled new pages, my “stumbled pages counter” was stuck at 99 count. Well I did not receive an answer to my email but today, I just stumbled one more page I’ve found beautifully useful and checked my stumbled pages counter to pleasantly discover that the counter has now moved from 99 to 100, meaning that I could continue stumbling and that it would add up correctly now. I don’t know if this was a bug in SU’s system or if it was a real kind of limitation, but I’m glad it’s not an issue anymore. What I asked them in the email was “why is my SU account limited at 99 blah blah” and I also told them “I really submitted only quality articles about blog marketing/promotion blah blah”. I’ve since stumbled tens of pages and the counter works accurately. Has Somebody experienced the same ? For newbies, “stumbling a page” means clicking on the “I like it” button of the SU toolbar. This is my stumbleupon page. Feel free to go and see what wonderful pages I’ve stumbled, and perhaps add me as a SU friend. Be sure to find highly valuable piece of contents that I’ve stumbled. I’m confident enough to dare saying that you’ll LOVE them.
SU sends me a lot of traffic and you should really participate in it. Submit your quality posts only and also other people’s quality posts only too. The important thing is the word quality. Don’t submit poor quality posts/articles, you’ll get in trouble doing that. Good quality is OK.
11:00 pm That same day I finally did something I wanted to do since a long time. The first kind of monthly report on BlogaDollar. So I made a post about “the first BlogaDollar Traffic Report ever”. I’ve put 3 graphics of the traffic statistics showing the unique visitors count, page views, progressions etc… Here it is.
I also added 15 mybloglog friends to my contact list and joined their 15 mybloglog communities.
I went to bed at 02:15 am that day, after finishing publishing/taging/formatting the traffic report post.
The Most Amazing Thing Is That The real Exposive BlogaDollar Promotion has not even started yet. As you can see, as always, you see what happens behind the scene of BlogaDollar. This is only the tip of the iceberg, and the strategy is evolving to adapt with the new sitation. Evolving towards new methods and new efficiency. Stay tuned. I did not even touch the socialisation part yet, you know, when you really start to interact directly with other bloggers, emailing them, blogging about them, etc, and gaining exposure all over the place. Until now, it has been only a focus on BLogaDollar itself, off-page and on-page actions, you know what they are because they are detailed almost day by day in the previous posts. But that is only the beginning, soon, you’ll start to see other bloggers talk directly about BlogaDollar. Everywhere. The word of mouth process, the conversation domination process is taking place soon, asd part of the new strategy. As always, you’ll get the REAL-LIFE details. Will you be there?
Do you know Charles Aznavour’s “20 years Old” and “youth” song? I love this song! Just wanted to share with you. I’m sure it’s the first time you see it. Listening 2 - 3 times is better to appreciate it. Of course, a little french is better, but not really necessary. Just enjoy, look at his eyes. He’s a great story teller and emotion sharer. This song talks about being 20 and wasting your youth doing crazy things instead of building real estates of relationships/friendship/your Blog :o) and much much more…
