Daily Progression Real Life Case Study Blogging Actions

BlogaDollar.com Daily Progression - Submitted-Submitted-Submitted My RSS Feed(part 1) Saturday July-28th-07 - REAL Life Case Study.

I wake up at 10:10 am. I get right to work. I submit submit submit my RSS feed to directories using submitemnow firefox plugin.

Some sites require you to register FREE with them first, others require reciprocal link, some are straight and direct to the point: you enter your URL, click the submit button, and voilà!
I told you in the previous posts that I wondered if I had the right feed URL submitted. Mine is http://www.blogadollar.com/feed/ and it seems to be the right URL to submit, after some little documentation and RSS education research I’ve made.
I’ve submitted my URL at findory.com and at the end of the submission, they say that it is THE correct URL. It’s valide. YEAH! It will be reviewed by a human in the next 7days / 2weeks.

While submitting, submit submit submit… I stumble upon an expired domain called canadiantechmob.com, an expired [PR6] domain!! “I want it! I want it!” I say to myself. So I digress from my submission task, I search on google “purchase an expired domain” and this article comes up. I bookmark mike’s site and spend a few minutes reading his stuff. Very good info.

It’s 12:50. Until now, I’ve submitted to 15 directories and skipped 7. As you can see, that’s hard work, it takes time, but if you do it, you will be rewarded in the long run.

I take a break, prepare and have lunch. But before, I quickly check my paypal accoun (funds received), check youtube friends invite and accept the decent ones.

It’s 13:45. I’m back to work. I submit, submit, submit.
By the way, here is the list I currently submit to. This is not the only list I will submit to. I told you before that I had one a single page of “taking action paper” and this list is the 1rst step on the single page now.

I digress again from my main task and go surfing johnCHow and his parody johnCow for fun. Hmmm.. interesting. It makes me think that I have to make a review of each of them and tell them to get a linkback. It’s on my to do list.

Back to RSS, some are 24 Hours approval, some are instant, some are 7days / 2 weeks … It varies.

One of the sites where you submit to is blurit. It’s a Q&A site. You contribute and you get points = more exposure = more traffic. If you login each day, you get 5 points. If you answer a question (=contribution) you get 15 points if I remember well. If you answer a lot of questions througout the tim, you become an expert, a recognised person, you brand your name or your username… Interesting. That’s web 2.0.

Ok: Until now, I’ve done a lot of things. Here is the achievement list summary again:

  • I installed the submitemnow firefox plugin
  • I submitted and submitted and submitted my RSS Feed (Talk about taking action)
  • discovered great useful infos about buying an expired domain
  • read johnCHow / johnCow
  • discovered blurit (web 2.0 in action)
  • written this post = content added to my blog (He He!)

I don’t take a break here, but I cut this post and start a new one now to make it shorter and readable.
